Hotlanta!

HELLO!!!

So I'm chillin back stage in Atlanta and figured what better way to spend my time hiding away from the heat, than to post in the Blog!

We've been on tour for about a week now, and went head on into heat and humidity in the South. Other than that, the tour has been great. We are preparing to go to radio in the middle of July, so we have been visiting radio stations in each city we've been playing in. The day usually consists of waking up at 5 am driving to the radio station, then to the venue, then playing the show, then sleep, then it repeats all over. And I seriously couldnt be happier. I love being busy. The more time I have on my hands, the more time I have to think about stuff and drive myself crazy haha. Anyway, the radio stuff is really fun for us! A visit usually consists of an interview, acousitc performance and meet and greet kinda style. It's just a nice variety to the touring lifestyle and breaks up the routine a bit.

We also released our new music video for Built To Last this week! We were fortunate enough to have myspace premiere it. I feel inclined to clear up some confusion as to why we have 3 videos for Built To Last. Well, here ya go...We made the first one cuz as many of you know we like to make movies, and thought it'd be fun to have a video for Built To Last until we made a real one. Then we got into some legal debate over ( which I suppose I can't say exactly) So we and WB decided to make another one in it's spirit. But it didn't come out as well. So whatever. haha. Which by the way, the Devil in the second video is our friend, who has gone to school with Ryan and I since kidnegarten. Well, that leads us to the third and final installment of the Built To Last Trilogy. We hope you enjoy the saga.

Ok, now, a little rant about how I want the iPhone but I dont know when to get it. Already everyone is talking about how the second version is ready to come out, so to just wait for that, but its so damn tempting to just give in. It already seems like my Sidekick is a dinosaur compared to the iphone. I dont want to be the person who got the very first iPod and then all his friends got the later one and wishes they were as cool as his friends with new ones, cuz he has an old piece of junk, even though its only months old. haha So if anyone waited in line for hours for it, let me know if you have it and your thoughts. I need some first hand oppinions.

Oh, I just got a great new cd. Sharon Jones and the Dap - Kings. She sings great neo soul and the Dap - Kings are an amazingly talented band ( who are also Amy Winehouse's band). The Albums called "Naturally". Check it out, you'll love it.
